Common Rosefinch in Cambs
Weds 13th July. A visit to Daventry Country park was in all in vain as the reported Greater Yellow Legs was in fact a Greenshank.
Later I met up with Paul F and we went to Fowlmere Road, Cambs, where we were able to connect with a first summer male Common Rosefinch. Next stop was Deadmans Hill near Baldock; 6 Corn Bunting, 2 Red Legged Partridge, Yellowhammer and Buzzard. Also noted 10+ adult and juvenile Hare's.
See later post for pics.
