A trip to NWT's Cley Marshes with Brendan G. Species of note on the reserve; Western Sandpiper, Green-winged Teal, Ruff, Avocet, Golden Plover, Black Tailed Godwit, Pintail. Shelduck, Wigeon, Teal, Brent Goose, Dunlin, Marsh Harrier, Linnet, Bearded Tit, Cetti's Warbler.
A seawatch produced; Guillemot, Red-throated Diver, Common Scoter, Gannet, Little Gull, Goldeneye, Sandwich Tern, Kittiwake, Great Skua, Brent Goose, White-fronted Goose, possible Bean Goose. On the beach; Snow Bunting (25).
On the way back we stopped at the Hawfinch hotspot that is know as Lynford Arboretum; c100 Greenfinch, Goldfinch, Redwing, Great-spotted Woodpecker, Sparrowhawk. No luck with the Hawfinch! My fourth visit to this site without success.
