Hereford and Gloucester

June 10th and 11th 2015.
A couple of days in Hereford and Gloucestershire with my better half. I wasn't expecting to get in too much birding but was pleasantly surprised with a couple of nice places for birding visited. On the 10th we visited Symonds Yat. Nice to see the Peregrine's have produced three young here. A distant shot of the female at the bottom of this post. From Symonds Yat we did some other touristy stuff that I won't bore you with!
11th June 2015. Not sure how but I did it but managed to persuade my other half to visit RSPB Nagshead, What a great visit it was too. Lots of decent birds to be seen including; Blackcap, Garden Warbler, Nuthatch, Treecreeper, Chiffchaff, Mandarin, Grey Wagtail, Spotted Flycatcher, Pied Flycatcher (2 pairs), Redstart, Wood Warbler (displaying male).
In the evening we visited Gloucester Cathedral where I took a few Gargoyle pics and then a late evening stroll around the grounds of our b and b a couple of Buzzards and a few House Martins.
Pics below; Peregrine at Symonds Yat, Wood Warbler at RSPB Nagshead, Buzzard at Rudford, Glos. Gargoyles at Gloucester Cathedral.
