The animations below were made by google+. I found this completely by accident

First I uploaded nearly 60 images to google+ "photos"

google+ then automatically makes animations of any photos with the same background

a minimum of 5 photos are required and you cannot manually make an animation, it will also apply other effects to sets of images.

once created, right click and "save as" to a folder on your pc

then "insert image" in the usual way
